DTI, Your Driver, & You
As the family member of a professional truck driver, you know better than anyone what it’s like when your driver is away and the pressure that puts on you. If your driver is interested in joining our team, we want you to be just as excited about joining the DTI family.
What to Expect
This page is 100% for you. We give you a transparent run-down of what it will be like for your family if your driver drives for DTI. How much they’ll get paid, what their first few months will look like, how often we’ll get them home, benefits for your family, and more. We break it all down right here.
Your Support Means Everything
1
Handle small tasks at home they normally have done, such as mowing the lawn or taking out the trash, while they adjust to their new role.
2
Help your driver meal prep before they hit the road for their next work cycle so they can worry less about food and also save money.
3
When your driver is home, ensure they have time to relax, spend time with your family and friends, and prepare for the next span of days they’ll be gone for work.
4
Help your driver keep distractions while working to a minimum. Plan family call times in advance around their 10-hour break. Avoid calling them during their driving time to help them stay focused on the road.
